Regional Macaoimh Campfire

Our first Regional Macaoimh activity for the Scouting year 2000/01 was held in Kilcully Campsite on Wednesday 18th October 2000.

About 150 Macaoimh turned up despite the weather being very bad all day. Luckily it stayed all night for us. The total attendance was nearly 200!

The campfire started at 7.30pm and continued until nearly 8.45pm. After the campfire Hotdogs, Drinks & Chocolate Bars were distributed.

Macaoimh from Blackrock, Ballinlough, Passge, Carrigaline & Grange/Frankfield attended the event.

This was also the first Regional Event to count towards the new Regional Activities Award.
