Camping

Welcome

Camping is an essential part of the the scouting programme and in our region all sections from Macaoimh to Venturers have the opportunity to camp during the scouting year.  In general we associate camping with the Annual Scout Camp and every scout troop in the region undertakes an annual camp.
I have included links and information on some places that troops in the region have already visited to help leaders and scouts / venturers plan trips away
WELCOME TO VISITORS
If you are planning to visit Cork, I have included some information here on places to stay and some local attactions you can visit.  I hope that you will find Cork a good place to stay and will visit again.

Permission to Camp
It is important to note that any camping or trip away longer than 3 nights, irrespective of whether you stay inside or camp outside requires the leader to complete a PC7 Form.
This applies to Macaoimh, Scout & Venturer sections.
This is partly an insurance requirement, so please contact me in good time.
