Macaoimh - Hillwalk 2002 
The Regional MAcaoimh Hillwalk was originally planned for the Sugar Loaf in Co. Waterford & Tipperary.  However due to very bad weather beforehand and the treat of heavy rain, the hillwalk was changed to Mt. Melleray.  Whilst there was not as much climbing involved, the walk was longer and took us up to the cross and along the boundary of the lands including through woods, over and under fences & through streams !  We arrived back at the scout centre just before it poured rain and had lunch and then did 3 fun bases before heading home.
