 This
is an artist impression of our new headquarters which will soon be
under construction in Larch Hill. the building will be located
on the site of teh present Pine Lodge whihc is in fact the location
of teh oroginal Larch Hill house demolished in the early 1970's.

| Construction
|
| The
roof will be in slate and the open areas shown in the design will be
in glass, In the front of the building there will be a
concorse area whihc will set off the front reception area.

| it is
anticipated that the building will be completed before the end of
2001 and special precautions will be put in place during the
construction process to keep Beavers, Cubs/Macaoimh, Scouts out of
the constrcution area.

| Design
|
| The pyramid type
structure designed to mimic a tent shape will ahve thre floors and
will provide a permantent headquarters location. |
| The futuristic building
has been designed by Paul Martin and his team. paul is a
former International Commissioner and person who understands
Scoutingand has first hand knowledge of the needs and function to
whihc building will be put. |
