In July 2003, we're going back to Gilwell!  Douglas have previously camped in Gilwell in 1984 and again in 1992.  We had hoped to go there in 2001, but Foot & Mouth reared up, and we ended up in Jambville outside Paris instead.

We love Gilwell as a site.  It combines the best of Scouting Activities with close proximity to London.

We're travelling from Cork to Swansea (by ferry) and then continuing by bus to Gilwell.  While on site we plan on doing many of their activities such as climbing, canoeing, swimming, archery, crate stacking, raft building etc etc etc.

Off site, we're aiming at getting to see a lot of the London sights and also have days out to Chessington World of Adventure and Duxford Air Museum (let's all go visit Concorde!!)
