Douglas Venturers 2003/2004

Venturers have recently restarted in Douglas (due to popular demand!).  The leader is Alan Sheehan and they meet on Thursdays from 7 to 8.  Venturers are the oldest youth section in Douglas and many also help out with the younger sections.

The Venturer programme is based on adventure.  Their activities are challenging and fun and include camping, weekends away, archery, mountain hiking, as well as meeting other Venturers from around the country.  All of this is planned, organised and run by the Venturers themselves (with minimum leader help).

Activities so far this year have included trips to the cinema and Ventact 2003 in Kilcully.
