Well, it happenned.  After 4 years of dreaming, joking, discussing and finally planning, for 2 weeks in July 1999, the Scout troop from Douglas in Cork, finally got to Rome, Italy.  And what a 2 weeks it was....

Priorities first - This camp has been an absolute success.  At the end of camp, we've had no major problems whatsoever.  This is testamony to the class and calibre of Scouts and Leaders that were at camp - thank you to you all.

This site is three seperate things:

1.    A report of the camp.
2.    A camp log.
3.    Hopefully, it will be a help to anyone interested in holding a camp in Italy.  YOU SHOULD!
